Machine Generated Transcripts (FREE)
Using proprietary speech to text algorithms, depose.me will provide at no charge a machine generated transcript. The machine transcript is posted online within four hours of the conclusion of the deposition.
The machine transcript is will have errors but it is useful for doing searches. The machine transcript comes with an index and is time synchronized to the video/audio. Synchronization allows the user to follow the transcribed text as they view the video, or click on the transcribed text to immediately queue/play the video at that location.
Human Transcripts can be ordered at great rates
The Video/Audio recording is the official record and is recognized as such by the courts. However, a human transcript can be ordered at any time at rates significantly less than those offered by stenographers.
The human transcript can be ordered for the entire deposition testimony, or just selected testimony can be transcribed to save costs.
